İşletmenin Sürekliliğini Etkileyen Finansal Faktörler: Borsa İstanbul'da Bir Uygulama

Abstract

Gelişen teknoloji çağında değişen çevre koşullarının yarattığı etkiler, işletmelerin varlıklarının devamı üzerinde tehlike oluşturabilecek durumların oluşmasına sebebiyet verdiği için işletmeler finansal tabloların süreklilik kavramı gereğince hazırlanmasına ve değerlendirilmesine ayrıca önem göstermişlerdir. Bu araştırma, işletmelerin faaliyetlerini icra ederken sürekliliklerini tehlikeye düşürebilecek durumların istatistiksel olarak tespit edilmesi için yapılmıştır. Bu doğrultuda 2018-2020 yılları dahilinde Borsa İstanbul' da işlem gören işletmelerde süreklilik sınıflandırması yapılarak 228 işletme araştırma kapsamına alınmıştır. Araştırma yöntemi olarak lojistik regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Lojistik regresyon analizi yardımıyla işletmelerin sürekliliğini etkileyen finansal faktörler tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu sebeple 228 işletmenin 2020 yılına ait konsolide finansal tabloları ve kapsamlı gelir tablolarından yararlanılarak on iki finansal oran hesaplanmış ve analize tabi tutulmuştur. Analiz sonucuna göre, sürekliliği etkileyen finansal faktörler işletmenin asit test oranı ve aktif devir hızı şeklinde tespit edilmiştir. Modelin genel doğruluk oranı ise %78,9 olarak gerçekleşmiştir.

Since the effects of changing environmental conditions in the age of developing technology cause situations that may threaten the continuity of the assets of the enterprises have paid particular attention to the preparation and evaluation of their financial statements by the concept of continuity. This research has been carried out to statistically determine the situations that may endanger the continuity of businesses while performing their activities. In this direction, 228 enterprises were included in the scope of the research by making a continuity classification in the enterprises traded in Borsa Istanbul between the years 2018-2020. Logistic regression analysis was used to as the research method. With the help of logistic regression analysis, financial factors affecting the continuity of enterprises were tried to be determined. For this reason, twelve financial ratios were calculated and analyzed by using the consolidated financial statements of 228 enterprises for the year 2020 and comprehensive income statements. According to the results of the analysis, the financial factors affecting the continuity were determined as the acid test rate and the asset turnover rate of the enterprise. The overall accuracy rate of the model was realized as 78.9%.
