Age Determination and Evaluation of Precision Using Five Bony Structures of the Brond-Snout (Chondrostoma regium Heckel, 1843)

Abstract

Age determination and an evaluation of the accuracy of five bony structures were performed on 89 samples collected from Bafra Altinkaya Dam Lake. Two readers aged the specimens according to vertebrate, otolith, scale, opercle and subopercle.
