Okul Öncesi Öğretmenlerin Uyguladıkları Müzik Etkinliklerine Yönelik Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Araştırmanın amacı, okul öncesi öğretmenlerin uyguladıkları müzik etkinliklerini incelemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda 36-48, 48-60, 60-72 aylık çocuklara öğretmenlik yapan okul öncesi öğretmenlerin; ilgili yaş grubunun gelişim alanlarına yönelik kazanımlarına ulaşabilmek için müzik etkinliklerinden yararlanma durumları, müzik etkinliklerinden yararlandıkları kazanımların hangileri olduğu ve uyguladıkları müzik etkinliği türleri ile etkinlik içeriğinin neler olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma betimsel nitelikte nitel bir alan araştırmasıdır. İlgili veriler literatür taraması ve araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen görüşme formu ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Sinop ili Merkez, Ayancık, Gerze, Dikmen, Türkeli, Boyabat ve Erfelek ilçelerinde görev yapan 63 okul öncesi öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma bulguları doğrultusunda çalışma grubundaki okul öncesi öğretmenlerin; çoğunun tüm öğrenme alanlarında yer alan kazanımlarda müzik etkinliklerinden yararlandığı, tüm bu kazanımlara ulaşabilmek için müzik etkinliklerinden yararlanma durumlarının az olduğu, 36-48 aylık çocuklara öğretmenlik yapan okul öncesi öğretmenlerin çoğunluğunun psikomotor gelişim alanında 'Durduğu noktadan çift ayak öne doğru atlar.' kazanımında, 48-60 aylık çocuklara öğretmenlik yapan okul öncesi öğretmenlerin çoğunluğunun dil gelişimi alanında 'Sesin kaynağının ne olduğunu söyler.' kazanımında, psikomotor gelişim alanında 'Durduğu yerden kollarından kuvvet alarak çift ayakla ileri doğru atlar.' kazanımında, 60-72 aylık çocuklara öğretmenlik yapan okul öncesi öğretmenlerin çoğunluğunun dil gelişimi alanında 'Sesler arasındaki benzerlikleri söyler.' kazanımında ve psikomotor gelişim alanında 'Topu tek elle yerden yuvarlar.' kazanımında müzik etkinliklerini kullandıkları, söz konusu kazanımlara ulaşmada uyguladıkları müzik etkinliği türlerinin ise çoğunlukla şarkı söyleme etkinliği olduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.

Aim of this study is surveying the musical activities performed by preschool teachers. For this purpose; status of utilization from musical activities for reaching proper achievements in the developmental areas of relevant age group, identification of achievements that was utilized by musical activities and type of activity with the content of it was determined of preschool teachers whom are teaching to 36-48, 48-60, 60-72 months old children. This study is a descriptive and qualitative field research. Related datas acquired by literature review and interview form which developed by the researcher. Study group of this research is formed by 63 preschool teachers who works in Sinop central district, Ayancik, Gerze, Dikmen, Turkeli, Boyabat and Erfelek district. In line with the research findings, it was concluded that most of the preschool teachers in the study group benefit from music activities for the achievements in all learning areas, they have little use of music activities in order to reach all the gains, and in terms of using music activities; in the psychomotor development field for the achievement of 'Jumps forward with two feet from standing point.' the majority of teachers who teach 36-48 months old children use music activities; in the field of language development for the achievement of 'States the source of the sound.' , in the psychomotor development area for the achievement of 'Jumps forward with two feet from standing point with assistance of the arms.' the majority of pre-school teachers who teach 48-60 months old children also use music activities; in the field of language development for the achievement of 'Remarks the similarities between sounds.' and also in the field of psychomotor development for the achievement of 'Rolls the ball on the ground with single hand.' the majority of pre-school teachers who teach 60-72 months old children use music activities. When the types of music activities applied by them to achieve these achievements were examined, it was concluded that the majority of them were singing activities.
