Güncel Çocuk Edebiyatı Eserlerinde Halk Kültürü Unsurları

Abstract

Çalışmada Türkiye'de yayımlanan güncel çocuk edebiyatı eserlerinden içerisinde halk kültürü unsurlarının bulunduğu hikâye ve romanlar incelenmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında son çocukluk olarak adlandırılan 10-13 yaş aralığındaki çocuklara hitap eden eserler söz konusu edilmiştir. Araştırmanın amacı güncel çocuk edebiyatı eserlerinde halk kültürü unsurlarının kullanım sıklığının tespit edilmesi ve bu eserlerin kültür aktarımındaki rolünün belirlenmesidir. İncelemede nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Ele alınan on yedi eserde tespit edilen halk kültürü unsurları Nail Tan'ın halk bilimi ürünleri üzerine yaptığı sınıflandırma dikkate alınarak incelenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler eserde yer alan bağlamlarıyla birlikte ortaya konularak kültürel unsurların işlevlerine de vurgu yapılmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada adlardan lakaplara, geçiş dönemlerinden halk edebiyatı ürünlerine, halk tiyatrosundan tören ve kutlamalara, giyim kuşamdan halk zanaatlarına, halk mimarisinden halk mutfağına kadar pek çok folklorik öge tespit edilmiş ve çocuk edebiyatı eserleri bu bağlamda içerik açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Ayrıca eserlerin çocuğun kişilik ve dil gelişimine, kültürü benimsemesine, okuma sevgisi kazanmasına katkıları da değerlendirilmiştir. 2019 Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programının amaç ve kazanımları doğrultusunda ve kültür aktarımı bağlamında söz konusu eserlerin materyal olarak kullanılabileceği düşünülmekle beraber kaleme alınacak eserlerde halk kültürü unsurlarına daha fazla yer verilmesi önerilmiştir.

In this study, stories and novels containing elements of folk culture among the current works of children's literature published in Turkey were analyzed. Within the scope of the study, works that appeal to children between the ages of 10-13, which is called the last childhood, are in question. The aim of the study is to determine the frequency of use of folk culture elements in current children's literature works and to determine the role of these works in cultural transmission. Document analysis technique, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the analysis. The elements of folk culture identified in the seventeen works were analyzed by taking into account Nail Tan's classification on folklore products. By presenting the data obtained together with their contexts in the work, it was tried to emphasize the functions of cultural elements. In the study, many folkloric elements from names to nicknames, from transition periods to folk literature products, from folk theater to ceremonies and celebrations, from clothing to folk crafts, from folk architecture to folk cuisine were identified and works of children's literature were evaluated in terms of content in this context. In addition, the contributions of the works to the child's personality and language development, adoption of culture, and love of reading were also evaluated. In line with the 2019 Turkish Lesson Teaching Program's objectives and achievements and in the context of culture transfer, it is thought that the works in question can be used as materials, but it is suggested that more folk culture elements should be included in the works to be written.
