1919 Yılında İstanbul'un Asayişi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Mondros Mütarekesi'nin imzalanmasından sonra İstanbul'a İtilaf donanmasının gelmesinin asayiş üzerine olumsuz etkileri incelenmeye çalışılmıştır.Mütareke Döneminde hem İtilaf Devletler'nin baskıları, hem de onların varlığını fırsat bilen gayr-i müslim çeteler, İstanbul ve tüm ülkenin huzursuz ve güvensiz olmasına neden olmuşlardır. Ayrıca savaş sonrası İstanbul'a gelen çok sayıdaki mülteci de şehrin hayatını olumsuz yönde etkilemiştir.İşgali sessizlikle karşılayan Osmanlı Hükümetleri, asayişin korunması amacıyla tedbirler almaya çalışmıştır.

This study has tried to examine the impact caused by coming of the Allied Powers? Navy to Istanbul in November 1918 after signing of Mondros Armistice, upon public order in Istanbul.During the Armistice period ( 1919-1922 ) the activities of the Entente Powers? representatives as well as non-muslim minorities who were encouraped by the Allies, caused worsening public security, not only in Istanbul but almost anywhere in Anatolia. Furthermore, alonge number of migronts settled in Istanbul effected badly order and security.The Ottoman Governments that accepted the occupation in rilence tried to get measures to prevent disorder and lack of security.
