Germ Hücreli Testis Tümörlerinde P-53 ve Bcl-2 Ekspresyonu

Abstract

ÖZET Amaç: Testisin germ hücreli tümörlerinde p53 ve bcl-2 ekspresyonu ile tümörlerin morfolojik ve biyolojik özellikleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek. Gereç ve yöntem : Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Tıp fakültesi Patoloji Anabilim Dalında 1986-2002 yıllan arasında germ hücreli testis tümörü tanısı almış 51 adet orşiektomi spesmenine ait kesitler retrospektif olarak incelendi ve sınıflandı. P 53 ve bcl-2 ekspresyonunu saptamak amacıyla immunohistokimyasal çalışma yapıldı. Boyanma şiddeti semikantitatif olarak (+) ile (++++) arasında derecelendirildi. Bulgular: Yirmisekiz seminom olgusunun 24'ünde (%86), 16 seminom dışı germ hücreli tümör (SDGHT) olgusunun ise 12'sinde (%75) p53 ekspresyonu saptandı. Bcl- 2 ekspresyonu 28 seminom olgusunun 2'sinde ( %7), 16 SDGHT'lerin 7'sinde ( %44) gözlendi. Sonuçlar : p53 ekspresyonunun seminom ve SDGHT'lerin gelişiminde önemli bir etken olduğunu, bcl-2 ekspresyonunun ise SDGHT'lerin gelişiminde p53 ve diğer etkenlerle birlikte rol aldığım söylemek mümkündür. Materials and Methods: In this study, tissue slides from 51 orchiectomy speciemens prepared between 1986 - 2002 in the Department of Pathology, Faculty of Medicine, Ondokuz Mayis University were reeveluated and classified. P53 and bcl-2 expression was showed immunohistochemically and intensity of staining was graded from (+) to (++++). Results: P53 expression was seen in 24 of 28 (86%) seminoma cases and 12 of thel6 (75%) nonseminomatous germ cell tumours (NSGCT). Bcl-2 expression was seen in 2 of the 28 ( 7%) of seminoma cases and 7 of the 16 (44%) NSGCT cases. Conclusions: p53 expression have an important role in the pathogenesis of seminoma and NSGCTs. However, in the patogenesis of the NSGCTs, bcl-2, p 53 expression and other associated factors have a role.
