4-(Benzyloxy)­phthalonitrile

Abstract

The molecule of the title compound, C<inf>15</inf>H<inf>10</inf>N <inf>2</inf>O, has two planar fragments. The phthalonitrile group forms a dihedral angle of 84.15 (8)° with the plane of the phenyl ring. The crystal structure is stabilized by one intermolecular hydrogen bond, two π-π interactions and one C - H⋯π interaction. © 2004 International Union of Crystallography Printed in Great Britain - all rights reserved.
