İstanbul Yabancılar İçin Türkçe A1 ve A2 Düzeyi Ders Kitaplarındaki Sosyo-Kültürel Unsurların Metinsellik Ölçütleri Bağlamında Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu tez çalışması yabancılara Türkçe öğretiminde kullanılan ders kitaplarındaki sosyo-kültürel unsurların metinsellik ölçütleri çerçevesinde Türkçe öğretimine katkısını tartışmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda İstanbul Yabancılar İçin Türkçe ders kitaplarının A1 ve A2 düzeylerinde bulunan 'Kültürden Kültüre' adlı bölümlerindeki 11 metin incelenmiştir. Nitel bir çalışmanın ürünü olan bu çalışma süresince metinlerde bulunan sosyo-kültürel unsurlar metinsellik ölçütleri ile çözümlenmiştir. Bu unsurlar Avrupa Dil Çerçeve Programı'ndaki iletişimsel yetilerinden sosyodilbilimsel yeti, edinçlerden ise sosyo-kültürel bilgi ve kültürlerarası bilinç gelişimi temel alınarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda A1 düzeyindeki metinlerin Avrupa Dil Çerçeve Programı'nda yer alan iletişimsel yetiye ve edince yönelik kazanımları karşılamadığı, fakat A2 düzeyindeki metinlerin bu yetilerin gelişimini sağlayacak yeterlikte oldukları saptanmıştır. Bulgular doğrultusunda çalışma sonunda önerilere yer verilmiştir. This thesis aims at discussing the contributions of socio-cultural elements in TFL (Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language) coursebooks in terms of standards of textuality. In this context 11 texts in 'From Culture to Culture' parts of İstanbul Yabancılar İçin Türkçe A1 and A2 level coursebooks were examined. Within this qualitative study, the socio-cultural elements in those books were analysed through the standards of textuality. These elements were determined within the framework of sociolinguistic competence, one of the components of communicative language competence and socio-cultural knowledge and intercultural awareness, two of the components of general competences, evaluated from Common European Framework of References for Languages. The findings of the study reveal that the texts in A1 level seem not to meet the learning outcomes of communicative language competence and general competence in Common European Framework of References for Languages, while the texts in A2 level coursebook do. In accordance with the findings some suggestions have been made at the end of the study.
