Profesyonel Futbol Takımı Taraftarlarının Stadyuma Katılımını Etkileyen Faktörlerin İncelenmesi

Abstract

ÖZET PROFESYONEL FUTBOL TAKIMI TARAFTARLARININ STADYUMA KATILIMINI ETKİLEYEN FAKTÖRLERİN İNCELENMESİ Amaç: Bu çalışmada UEFA kriterlerine sahip stadyumları olan profesyonel futbol takımı taraftarlarının stadyuma katılma ve katılmama nedenlerini etkileyen faktörlerin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Materyal ve Metot: Araştırmanın evrenini 2013-2014 sezonunda Spor Toto Süper Liginde mücadele eden UEFA kriterlerine sahip stadyumları olan Galatasaray Spor Kulübü, Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü ve Kayserispor futbol kulübü taraftarları, örneklemini ise tesadüfi yöntemle seçilen (n=1237) taraftar oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, taraftarların demografik bilgileri ile birlikte, 30 sorudan oluşan stadyuma katılma ve katılmama nedenleri ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin istatistiksel analizi SPSS 16,0 paket programında yapılmış, tanımlayıcı istatistikler, bağımsız t-testi ve tek yönlü ANOVA testi uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışma sonunda ankete katılan futbol takımı taraftarlarının stadyuma katılma nedenlerini etkileyen değişkenler önem sırasına göre; Rekreasyon Faaliyeti Fırsatı, Stadyum Atmosferi ve Kişisel Rahatlama Fırsatı faktörleri olarak bulunmuş, taraftarların stadyuma katılmama nedenlerini etkileyen değişkenler ise önem sırasına göre; Olumsuz Ergonomik Çevre ve Etik Olmayan Durumlar faktörleri olarak saptanmıştır. Sonuç: Profesyonel futbol takımı taraftarlarının stadyuma katılmalarını etkileyen nedenler içerisinde 'Rekreasyon Faaliyeti Fırsatı' bileşeni en etkili faktör olarak bulunmuştur. Bu durum, stadyumlarda rekreatif faaliyetlerle ilgili kaliteli organizasyonların arttırılması gerekliliğini ortaya çıkarmıştır. Yaptığımız araştırmada stadyuma katılmamayı etkileyen faktörlerden en etkili olanı 'Olumsuz Ergonomik Çevre' bileşeni olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu sonuçla daha fazla taraftarın stadyuma katılmasını sağlamak için olumsuz ergonomik çevre koşullarının iyileştirilmesi gerekmektedir. ABSTRACT THE INVESTIGATION OF THE FACTORS AFFECTING STADIUM ATTENDANCE OF PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL CLUB SUPPORTERS Aim: The aim of this study is to investigate the factors affecting the stadium attendance of the supporters of professional football clubs that have stadiums fulfilling the UEFA criteria. Material and Method: The study population includes the supporters of Galatasaray Sport Club, Fenerbahçe Sport Club and Kayserispor football clubs participating in Spor Toto Super League in 2013-2014 seasons and having stadiums that fulfill the UEFA criteria. The sample consists of randomly selected (n=1237) supporters. As well as demographic data of the supporters, reasons affecting the Stadium Attendance Scale which consists of 30 questions were used to collect the data. Statistical analysis of the data was done using SPSS 16.0 packet program and descriptive statistics, independent t-test and one-way ANOVA test were applied. Results: The reasons affecting the stadium attendance of the supporters are as follows; opportunity for recreational activities, stadium atmosphere and personal relaxation. On the other hand, the variables affecting the supporters' nonattendance are as follows; negative ergonomic environment and unethical situations. Conclusion: Among the other factors affecting the supporters' attendance to the stadiums, the component of 'Opportunity for Recreational Activities' was found to be the most influential factor. This revealed the necessity of increasing the number of high quality organization related to recreational activities in the stadiums. In the study, the component of 'Negative Ergonomic Environment' was found to be the most influential factor influencing the stadium attendance. In conclusion, negative ergonomic environmental conditions need to be improved to increase the stadium attendance.
