Din Görevlisinin Toplumsal İmajını Etkileyen Faktörler(Samsun Örneği)

Abstract

Ülkemizde din hizmetlerinin önemli bir bölümünü imam-hatipler yürütmektedir. Din görevlilerinin toplumsal imajı din hizmetlerinin verimliliğini oldukça etkilemektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı din görevlilerinin toplumsal imajını etkileyen faktörleri ortaya koymaktır.Araştırmanın çalışma evrenini Samsun'da bulunan yetişkinler oluşturmaktadır. Bu evrenin içersinden tesadüfî örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen 380 kişi araştırmanın örneklemidir. Bilgi toplama aracı olarak anket tekniği kullanılmıştır. Anket sorularında din görevlilerinin değişik tutum ve davranışları örneklem tarafından değerlendirilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde frekans (%) ve Ki Kare istatistik tekniklerinden yararlanılmıştır.Elde edilen sonuçlar değerlendirildiğinde din görevlilerinin imajını olumlu etkileyen faktörler olarak, davranışlarıyla örnek olması, güzel hitabeti, kılık kıyafetine özen göstermesi, çevresiyle iyi ilişkiler kurması gibi hususlar belirtilmiştir. Olumsuz etkileyen faktörleri ise iki başlıkta toplamak mümkündür: Bunlar din görevlisine yakışmayan olumsuz davranışlar ve din görevlisinin mesleki yetersizliğinden kaynaklanan problemlerdir. Toplumun önünde rehber konumda olan din görevlilerinin halkımızın beklentilerini karşılamaya çalışması din hizmetlerinin verimliliği açısından oldukça önemlidir.Anahtar Sözcükler: Din Görevlisi,Din Hizmetleri, Din Görevlisinin İmajı

ABSTRACTToday İmam-Khatip conducts an important part of the religious services in our country. The social image of religious officials highly affects the efficency of religious sevices. Aim of this research is to investigate factors that affect the social image of religious officials.The population of the study consists of the adults in Samsun. The sampling of the study consists of 380 people randomly selected from within the population. We used the survey technique to collect information. We evaluated the different attitudes and behaviors of religious officials in the survey questions by the sampling. We used statistical techniques called frequency and Chi Square to analyze the data.According to results in this study, the positive factors affecting the image of religious officials are as follows: Being a role model, nice oratory, taking care of his clothes, establishing good relations with its surroundings. Negative factors can be grouped under two headings: Negative behaviours unbecoming religious officials, Lack of professionality of religious officials. Religious officials? effort to meet the societal expectations is very important for the efficiency of religious services.KEY WORDS: Religious Official, Religious Services, The Image of Religious officials
