dc.description.abstractAccording to a recent review, the prevalence of women experiencing violence during pregnancy has been estimated to be between 0.9 % and 20.1 %, while the prevalence of violence at any time ranges from 9.7 % to 29.7 %. There are many specific of inquiry that could well include abuse during pregnancy systematically in their research, clinical, and policy initiatives; Population control, international women's health, postpartum assesment and intervention, postpartum depression, HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases, breast feeding, child abuse, domestic violence, adolescent pregnancy, substance abuse, culturel influences.en_US
