Abstract
Bu çalışma, Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı'na bağlı olarak Karabük ilinde görev yapan din görevlilerinin (İmam-hatipler) mesleki yeterlilik, mesleki tutum ve motivasyon düzeylerinin belirlenmesi ve aralarındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi ile ilgili bir alan araştırmasıdır. Bu araştırmada, öncelikle din görevlilerinin kendi algılarına göre mesleki yeterlilikleri, mesleki tutum ve motivasyonları ayrı başlıklar altında incelenmiştir. Bu inceleme sonucunda, din görevlilerinin mesleki yeterlilik düzeyleri ile görev yaptıkları yerleşim yerleri arasında, mesleki tutum düzeyleri ile mesleği tercih etme nedenleri arasında ve mesleki motivasyon düzeyleri ile hem mesleği tercih etme nedenleri hem de medeni durumları arasında (p<0,05) düzeyinde olumlu bir ilişki görülmüştür. Daha sonra, din görevlilerinin mesleki yeterlilikleri ile mesleki tutum ve motivasyonları arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Bu inceleme sonucunda ise, din görevlilerinin mesleki yeterlilikleri ile mesleki tutum ve motivasyonları arasında (p<0,01) düzeyinde önemli bir ilişki görülmüştür. Araştırmada elde edilen bu veriler değerlendirilmiş ve ortaya çıkan sonuçlar ışığında din görevlilerinin mesleki bakımdan daha iyi bir düzeye çıkmalarına yönelik bir takım önerilerde bulunulmuştur. This study is a fieldwork that deals with the determination and examination the relationship between the professional competences, attitudes and motivations of Imams working in Karabük and belonging to the Presidency of Religious Affairs. In this study, firstly, the professional competences, attitudes and motivations of Imams were examined according to their own perceptions in separate titles. It was found that there were significant relationship between the professional competence levels and their working places; the professional attitude levels and the reasons for choosing their professions; and the professional motivational levels with both the reasons for choosing their professions and their marital status at the level of (p<0.05). Later, it was examined the relationship between the professional competences, attitudes and motivations of Imams. It was also found that there was a significant relationship between the professional competences, attitudes and motivations of Imams at the level of (p <0.01). Lastly, after the data taken from this study were evaluated, some suggestions were presented in light of the results for a better attaining level in terms of professional competences of Imams.
