Parion Kemik Eserler (2005-2017)

Abstract

Parion Antik Kenti Çanakkale ilinin Biga ilçesinin Kemer köyü'nde yer almaktadır. Parion, sahip olduğu coğrafi ve stratejik konumu, önemli bir ticaret limanına sahip olması gibi özellikleri sayesinde çağlar boyunca bölgedeki egemen güçlerin sahip olmak istedikleri kentlerden biri olmuştur. Çalışmanın konusu 2005-2017 yılları arasında Parion da ele geçen kemik eserler oluşturmaktadır. Kemik eserler Güney Nekropol, Odeion, Yamaç Hamamı, Roma Hamamı, Tiyatro, Agora ve Dükkânlar sektörlerinde ele geçmiştir. Kemik eserler Arkaik, Roma ve Bizans dönemlerine tarihlenmektedir. 97 adet kemik eser değerlendirme kapsamına alınmıştır. Birçoğu form vermediğinden değerlendirme kapsamına alınmamıştır. 5 ana başlık altında takı ve aksesuarlar, oyun araçları, dokuma araçları, kaşıklar ve diğer eserler başlığı adı altında gruplandırılmıştır. Kemik eser üretim merkezine dair mimari alan çıkmamasına rağmen kazılar sonucunda ele geçen yarı işli ve üretim atığı kemiklerin Parion antik kentinde kemik eser üretim merkezi olduğunu konusunda ipuçları vermektedir. The ancient city of Parion is located in the village of Kemer in the Biga district of Çanakkale, north of the Troas region. Parion has been one of the cities that the sovereign powers in the region wanted to have for ages thanks to its geographical and strategic location and having an important commercial port. The subject of the study is Bone Artifacts recovered in Parion between 2005-2017. Bone artifacts were found in the Necropolis, Odeion, Yamac Bath, Roman Bath, Theater, Agora and Shops. Bone artifacts recovered from other sectors other than necropolis finds are dated to the Roman Byzantine period. 97 bone artifacts were included in the evaluation. Most of them were not included in the evaluation as they did not provide any form. They are grouped under 5 main headings: Jewelry and Accessories, Game Tools, Weaving Tools and Others. Although there is no architectural space for the bone artifact production center, the clues suggest that the semi-worked and production waste bones obtained as a result of the excavations are the bone artifact production center in the Ancient City of Parion.
