Abstract
Bu çalışmada, skuarik asit mölekülünün çeşitli bileşikleri sentezlendi. Bunlar nikotinik hidrazid-skuarik asit [(C6H9N3O)(C4O4)(H2O)] ve 2-(2-piridil)etilamin-skuarik asit [(C7H11N2)0.5(C4O4)(H2O)] bileşikleridir. Sentezlenen bileşiklerin yapıları X-ışınları ve IR spektroskopik yöntemleri ile aydınlatılmıştır. Her iki bileşikte kristal paketlenmeler, çeşitli halka motiflerine neden olan orta şiddette molekül içi ve moleküller arası hidrojen bağları ile sağlanmaktadır. Diğer taraftan, su moleküllerinin hidrojen bağına katılıp komşu skuarat, nikotinik hidrazid ve 2-(2-piridil)etilamin moleküllerini bağlamak suretiyle moleküler paketlenmeye katkıda bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Skuarik Asit, X-ışını Kırınımı, Kırmızı-altı Spektroskopisi, Nikotinik Hidrazid, 2-(2-Piridil)Etilamin
In this study, the compounds of squaric acid with nicotinic hydrazide and 2-(2-pyridyl)ethylamine have been synthesized and the structures of the compounds have been characterized by X-ray diffraction and infrared spectroscopy. The crystal packings of the compounds are mainly stabilized by intra- and inter-molecular moderate hydrogen bonds which lead to various ring patterns in the structure. It is also found that the water molecules further support the molecular packing by participating and thus linking adjacent squarate, nicotinic hydrazide and 2-(2-pyridyl)ethylamine moieties in the structure.Keywords: X-ray Diffraction, Infrared Spectroscopy, Squaric Acid, Nicotinic Hydrazide, 2-(2-pyridyl)ethylamine
