Hamdullah B. Hayreddin'in Cevâhiru'l-İkyân Fî Şerhi Umdeti'l-İrfân Adlı Eserinin Tecvid İlmindeki Yeri

Abstract

The purpose of kıraat and tajwid science In addition to reading the Quran beautifully, it is to ensure that the wish in the word of Allah is conveyed to the addressees in the most correct way. For this purpose, many works have been compiled since the early ages with the efforts of many interpreters and readers of the Qur'an. It is known that these efforts, which reached their peak with Ibn al-Jezerî (ö. 1429) during the Ottoman period, stopped with the Fetret Period. After the invitation of Molla Gürânî (ö. 1488) during the reign of Murad II (ö. 1451) and Ahmet el-Meyseri (ö. 1597) from Egypt in the reign of Kanuni (ö. 1566), studies on qira'at and tajwid science gained speed again. Another important author in this period was Hamdullah b. Hayreddin. The author, who is also famous as the Hatib-i Ayasofya due to his forty years of preaching in the Ayasofya Mosque, has many works on the science of kıraat and tajwid. Hamdullah b. Hayreddin's two poetic works on the science of tajwid and his Ottoman explanations on these two works have survived to this day. The author's work titled Rusûhu'l-Lisân fî Hurûfi'l-Quran and his explanations named Vesîletü'l-İtkan fî Şerhi Rusûhi'l-Lisân, which he wrote in this work, have been the subject of several studies. Umdetü'l-İrfân fî Vasfi Hurûfi'l-Qur'an, his explanations in his Arabic work Cevâhiru'l-İkyân fî Şerhi Umdeti'l-İrfân, however, a comprehensive study has not been done yet. Therefore, the work of the author, Cevâhiru'l-İkyân fî Şerhi Umdeti'l-İrfân, which we consider to be an important work of the 16th century Ottoman tajwid works, was the subject of our work. This work is a self-contained tajwid book and gives very little place to the conflicts of kıraat. The author, as the reason for writing his work, cites the exaggerated and erroneous readings in his own time, eager to become famous. In addition, in this work, subjects such as foundation, ibtida and resmu'l-mushaf, especially the origins and adjectives of the letters are widely covered.

Kıraat ve tecvid ilminin gayesi, Kur'ân-ı Kerîm'i güzel okumanın yanında Yüce Allah'ın kelamındaki muradın en doğru şekilde muhatablarına aktarılmasını sağlamaktır. Bu maksatla erken devirlerden itibaren birçok müellifin çabalarıyla çok sayıda eser telif edilmiştir. Osmanlı döneminde İbnü'l-Cezerî (ö. 1429) ile zirveye ulaşan bu gayretlerin Fetret Dönemi ile birlikte inkıtaya uğradığı bilinmektedir. II.Murad (ö. 1451) döneminde Molla Gürânî'nin (ö. 1488), Kanuni (ö. 1566) döneminde ise Ahmet el-Meyserî'nin (ö. 1597) Mısır'dan İstanbul'a davet edilmesinden sonra kıraat ve tecvid ilmi ile ilgili çalışmalar tekrar hız kazanmıştır. Bu dönemdeki bir diğer önemli isim, eserleri ve dârulkurrâlardaki müderrisliği ile dikkat çeken Hamdullah b. Hayreddin'dir. Ayasofya Camii'inde yaklaşık kırk yıl hatiplik yapmasından dolayı Hatib-i Ayasofya olarak da meşhur olan müellifin kıraat ve tecvid ilmiyle ilgili birçok çalışması bulunmaktadır. Hamdullah b. Hayreddin'in tecvid ilmi ile ilgili manzum iki eseri ve bu iki eserine yazmış olduğu Osmanlıca şerhleri günümüze ulaşabilmiştir. Müellifin telif ettiği Rusûhu'l-Lisân fî Hurûfi'l-Kur'ân adlı eseri ile bu eserine yazdığı Vesîletü'l-İtkân fî Şerhi Rusûhi'l-Lisân isimli şerhi birkaç çalışmaya konu edilmiştir. Umdetü'l-İrfân fî Vasfi Hurûfi'l-Kur'ân adlı Arapça manzum eserine yazdığı Cevâhiru'l-İkyân fî Şerhi Umdeti'l-İrfân adlı mensur Osmanlıca eseri hakkında ise henüz kapsamlı bir çalışma yapılmamıştır. Dolayısıyla müellifin, 16.yy Osmanlı tecvid çalışmalarının önemli bir eseri olduğunu düşündüğümüz Cevâhiru'l-İkyân fî Şerhi Umdeti'l-İrfân adlı eseri çalışmamızın konusu olmuştur. Bu eser müstakil bir tecvid kitabı olup kıraat ihtilaflarına çok az yer vermektedir. Müellif, eserini yazma nedeni olarak, kendi döneminde yapılan meşhur olma hevesiyle abartılı ve hatalı okuyuşları göstermektedir. Ayrıca bu eserde başta harflerin mahreç ve sıfatları olmak üzere vakf, ibtida ve resmü'l-mushaf gibi konulara da geniş bir şekilde yer verilmiştir.
