Nedir bu "cinnet " dedikleri?

Abstract

Basında cinnet kelimesi ile tanımlanan olaylar son yıllarda fazlaca yer almasına rağmen, bu kelime tıbbi literatürde çoğu kez kullanılmamaktadır. Bu yazıda cinnet davranışının tarihçesi ve olası psikiyatrik tabloların bir derlemesi yer almaktadır. Cinnet kelimesi ile tanımlanan olayların en önemli özelliği beklenmemesidir. Bu nedenle riskli durumları belirlemek çok zordur. Yine de bu riskli davranışları belirlemeye çalışmak, bu konuda daha fazla tanımlayıcı çalışma yapmak, ağır sonuçları olan bu aşırı şiddet davranışının önlenmesinde yardımcı olabilir.

Although incidents defined by the word lunacy takes place much more often in media for the past few years, this word is not rather frequently used in medical literature. This article concerns with the history of behavioral lunacy and its probable psychiatric views. The most important characteristics of incidents defined by lunacy is that it comes suddenly and unexpectedly. That is why, it becomes difficult to identify the risky situations. Despite that, trying to identify such risky behaviour and producing more descriptive studies in this field can be helpful in preventing this extreme violent behaviour leading to serious results.
