Kırsal yoksullukla mücadelede yeni adım: mikrokredi

Abstract

Dünya'da son 15-20 yılda en çok gündeme gelen konulardan biri yoksulluktur. Yoksulluk; tüm ülkelerin, toplumların ortak sorunu haline gelmiştir. Yoksulluk, tüm insanları doğrudan veya dolaylı olarak etkilemektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı; son yıllarda dünyanın ortak ilgi ve çalışma alanlarından olan kırsal yoksullukla mücadele çabasının gerekliliğini ve önemini vurgulamaktır. Bu çalışmada, kırsal yoksulluğun dünya ve Türkiye'deki durumu, ortaya çıkış nedenlerini, toplumu etkileyen yanlarını, mikrokredi kavramı, başarılı uygulama örnekleri ve yoksullukla mücadele ile ilgili çözüm önerileri sunulmaktadır.

Rural poverty is one of the critical isues which has been discussed for about 15 to 20 years in the world. Poverty is not a case specific issue to individual communities or countries. It is becoming a common issue for all the nations and negatively affects individuals, communities and the environment directly or indirectly. The purpose of the review is to draw attention to the importance of poverty alleviation activities applied both in the world and Turkey. The reasons for poverty, the state of poverty in the world and Turkey, its negative impacts on communities, the concept of microcredits, case studies on poverty alleviation activities and microcredit applications are presented and discussed. Finally, alternative solutions for poverty aleviation are presented.
