Tavşanlarda subkapsüler orşiektomi sonrası bone-wax protez yerleştirilmesi ve bunun antisperm antikor seviyesine etkisi

Abstract

Subkapsüler orşiektomi sonrası tunika albuginea içerisine bone-wax protez yerleştirilmesinin uygulanabilirliği ve bunun antisperm antikor (ASA) seviyesine etkisi 20 erişkin erkek tavşan üzerinde incelendi. Tavşanlardan 10'unda subkapsüler orşiektomi sonrası tunika albuginea içerisine bone-wax konurken, diğerlerinde tunika albuginea boş bırakıldı. İki aylık bekleme süresi sonunda protez konulan testislerin histopatolojik incelenmesinde yabancı cisim dev hücre reaksiyonu saptandı. Her iki grupta serum ASA düzeylerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık görülmedi (p0.05). Bone-wax, subkapsüler orşiektomide dolgu maddesi olarak daha detaylı araştırmaya değer bulundu.

Placement of Bone-Wax Prosthesis After Subcapsular Orchiectomy and Effects on Antisperm Antibody Levels in Rabbits- The applicability of bone-wax as a prosthesis in tunica albuginea after subcapsular orchiectomy and the effects on antisperm antibody levels were investigated in twenty adult male rabbits. All rabbits underwent subcapsular orchiectomy and the unical spaces of 10 were filled with bone-wax while the remaining tunics were closed, as usual. After a two-month waiting period, histological examination of the bone-wax filled testes revealed giant cell foreign body reaction. The difference between antisperm antibody levels of the two groups were not statistically significant (p>0.05). Our results indicate that bone-wax has value for further investigation as a prosthesis in subcapsular orchiectomy.
