Abstract

Bitki hücre ve doku kültür tekniği, potansiyel olarak oldukça yararlı teknikleri ihtiva eder Bütün bu teknikler bitki dokuncalarından, izole edilen hücrelerden,- calluslardan protoplastlardan veya embriyonik dokulardan, steril koşullarda bitkilerin elde edilmesi için kullanılır. Ayrıca, geleneksel bitki ıslah yöntemleri ile kombine etmede bitki hücre ve doku kültür teknikleri yegane potansiyeldir. Plant cell and tissue culture technique includes a wde range of potantially useful techniques, all of which utilize in vitro plant cell and Ussue culture for reqenaration of functional plants from tissue fragments, isolated cells, calli, protoplast, or embryonic tissue. Plant cell and tissue culture techniques have a unique potential for supplementing traditional plant preeding procedures. In this paper, the nature of the plant cell and tissue culture techniques, benefits to plant breeding from their use, and problems associated with their use are discussed.
