Postoperatif spontaneous membrane healing in chronic tuberculosis otitis media: Case report

Abstract

Tuberculosis is an important medical problem in devoloping countries. Chronic suppurative infection of middle ear and mastoid air cells is not seen as a frequent feature, İn the case of chronic suppurative otitis resistant to standard treatment, middle ear tuberculosis must be kept in mind. Tuberculosis otitis media can be controlled easily if early diagnosis is made. The aim of this study is to present a rarely seen middle ear tuberculosis case and interesting recovery process after treatment.
