Constacyclic codes over some finite rings

Abstract

We study the structures of - constacyclic codes over the family of rings , where is a prime and

, , for and . A Gray map from

to

is introduced and it is shown that the images of -constacyclic codes of length are -multitwisted codes of length . The generators of such constacyclic codes for an arbitrary length are determined are also discussed. And finally, we describe the decoding procedure using the Gray image of constacyclic codes over , where .
