Toplumsal cinsiyet ekseninde yeni medyada bir mücadele pratiği: 5harfliler.com

Abstract

Kadınların kendi kimliğini oluşturma ve bunu kamusal alana taşıma çalışmaları özellikle 3. Dalga feminizm ile gündeme gelmiş bir konudur. Kadın kimliğine dair çalışmalar çerçevesinde, kadının eril dilden sıyrılması ve kendisine ait bir dil oluşturması önemli bir nokta olmuştur. Kadının eril dilden sıyrılması, dişil bir dil kullanımı ile mümkün olup, kadınlar bu dil için kamusal bir alana ihtiyaç duymuştur. Bu bağlamda eril dilin tüm tahakkümlerinden sıyrılmayı amaçlayan kadınlar için yeni medya hem bir mücadele alanı hem de bu mücadele için bir araç görevi görmüştür. Yeni medya ile kadınlar kendilerine, kendi kimliklerini oluşturabilecekleri bir alan açmıştır. Ataerkil yapı çerçevesinde oluşan iktidar mekanizmaları karşısında kadınlar, yeni medya ile seslerini duyurabilmiş, bu bağlamda eril tahakkümün tüm hegemonik biçiminden uzaklaşmayı amaçlamıştır. Feminist mücadelede yeni medyayı bir mücadele alanı olarak kullanan kadınlar, 5Harfliler gibi dijital dergiler aracılığıyla mücadelesini güçlendirmiş, hatta yeni bir mücadele pratiği geliştirmiştir. 5Harfliler.com dijital dergisi dilin kullanımı ile yeni bir mücadele pratiğini ortaya koymuştur. Bu çalışmada toplumsal cinsiyet temeline dayanarak 5Harfliler.com’da yer alan İstanbul Sözleşmesi etiketindeki metinler, Ruth Wodak’ın söylem analizi yöntemi ile incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı, 5harfliler.com’un toplumsal cinsiyet ekseninde bir mücadele pratiği örneği olup olmadığını ortaya çıkarmak ve bu bağlamda incelenen metinlerdeki açık ve kapalı anlamlar bağlamındaki ideolojik yapıyı anlamaktır. İstanbul Sözleşmesinin bu çalışma için önemi, sözleşmenin toplumsal bir mücadele pratiği olarak söylem alanına taşınmış olmasıdır.

Women's efforts to create themselves and bring this to the public sphere is an issue that has come up especially with 3rd wave feminism. Within the framework of studies on female identity, it has been an important point for women to get rid of the masculine language and to create a language of their own. It is possible for women to get rid of the masculine language through the use of a feminine language, and women needed a public space for this language. In this context, for women who aim to get rid of all the tails of the masculine language, the new media has seen both a field of struggle and a tool for this struggle. With the new media, women have opened up a space where they can form their own identities. Women were able to make their voices heard by new media in the face of the power mechanisms formed within the framework of the patriarchal structure, and in this context, they aimed to move away from all hegemonic forms of male domination. Using the new media as a field of struggle in the feminist struggle, women strengthened their struggle through digital magazines such as 5Harfliler and even developed a new struggle practice. 5Harfliler.com digital magazine has revealed a new struggle practice with the use of language. In this study, the texts in the Istanbul Convention label on 5Harfliler.com based on gender were analyzed with the discourse analysis method of Ruth Wodak. The aim of the study is to reveal whether 5harfliler.com is an example of struggle practice in the gender axis. The importance of the Istanbul Contract for this study is that the convention has been transferred to the field of discourse as a social struggle.
