Abstract

The aim of this study is to elucidate the structure of 8-hydroxy-7-(4-sulfo-1-naphthylazo)-5-quinolinesulfonic acid-nickel complex by using square wave voltarnmetry, differential pulse polarography, (DPP) and direct current polaroagraphy (DCP) techniques in Britton Robinson (BR) buffer and KNO3 media. Two peak potentials have been determined for the nickel-azo complex in SWV, DCP and the ratio of metal-complex has been found to be 1:2 under the experimental conditions.
