Abstract

The title compound, C14H13N1O3, adopts the keto-amine tautomeric form, with an intramolecular N - H (...) O resonance-assisted hydrogen bond. The two benzene rings are nearly coplanar [dihedral angle = 14.3 (2)degrees]. The molecules are linked by intermolecular O - H (...) O hydrogen bonds and C - H (...) pi interactions between methyl groups and benzene rings.
